Kids Zone Guidelines

for Parents:

🌈 THE PLAYFUL POP UP — KIDS ZONE RULES FOR PARENTS

Where fun is magical, safety is serious, and your child’s joy is our top priority.

⭐ Welcome to the Kids Zone!

We’re thrilled your child is here to play, explore, and enjoy 30 minutes of magical fun. To keep Kids Zone safe, smooth, and joyful for everyone, please review and follow these rules.

👨‍👩‍👧 1. Parent Permission to Play

Parents and legal guardians must complete the parent permission and waiver form before their child will be allowed to play. If you are not a child’s legal guardian, you may download the form below and have the child’s legal guardian sign and date the form. You’ll need to bring that form with you to check in. Unfortunately, kids who don’t have these forms won’t be able to play.

👨‍👩‍👧 2. Check‑In & Check‑Out

Children must be registered, checked in, and checked out by an adult.

The same adult must check the child in and out.

Security wristbands are issued to both adult and child and must match at pickup.

Our check out staff will confirm your wristbands at checkout and then remove both the adult and child’s wristband. We will retain all wristbands for our daily closing audit.

Children may not enter or leave Kids Zone without their adult and no one will be allowed in or out of Kids Zone without staff approval and check in and check out protocols.

🧸3. Potty Procedures

We have a dedicated Kids Zone porta‑potty located inside the fenced area, right beside check‑in.

Before you leave your child, please take them to the bathroom. This helps most kids get through their 30‑minute session without needing to go again.

If your child needs to go during their session:

• We will call you immediately.

• You must return within 5 minutes to take them.

• Staff will not accompany children inside the porta‑potty.

If you do not return when texted/called, a $25 No‑Show Potty Fee will be added at pickup.

📱 4. You Must Stay On‑Site

For the full 30‑minute session, you must remain on the market property.

This means:

• No trips to the overflow parking lot

• No crossing the street to the gas station

• No errands

• No “just running to the car real fast”

If you must leave due to an emergency, you must check your child out first.

📞5. Phone Must Be On & Answered Immediately

If we text or call you, it’s because your child needs you.

You must:

• Answer on the first attempt

• Arrive at Kids Zone within 5 minutes

Late arrivals may incur a $5‑per‑minute late fee.

⏰ 6. Strict Pickup Times

Your child’s 30‑minute session begins after check‑in and bathroom time. We round the start time in your favor, but pickup time is exact.

Example:

• Check‑in at 2:31 → session runs 2:35–3:05

• Check‑in at 2:36 → session runs 2:40–3:10

Late pickups may incur a $5‑per‑minute fee. Staff may use discretion for honest mistakes.

🧒 7. Behavior Expectations

To keep Kids Zone magical for everyone, children must follow these rules:

• No fighting, bullying, teasing, or rude behavior

• No ignoring staff instructions

• No cutting lines

• No hogging toys or activities

• No climbing or touching the fence

• No destruction of toys, inflatables, or equipment

• No leaving the fenced area until a parent arrives and staff approves checkout

If needed, staff may use brief 2 minute time‑outs

🍭 8. No Food or Drinks Inside Kids Zone

We want to avoid sticky hands, spills, and snack‑related chaos.

We do provide a water station — kids must drink it at the staff table.

If your child has treats, they must finish them before entering Kids Zone.

🌧️ 9. Weather Policy

We are a rain‑or‑shine market — but safety always comes first.

Light Rain

Kids may keep playing. We’ll keep everyone safe and happy under tents or umbrellas.

Heavy Rain, Lightning, Unsafe Heat, or Severe Weather

Kids Zone closes immediately.

If we must shut down due to unsafe conditions, you must return to Kids Zone right away — within 5 minutes of our call — to pick up your child.

Refunds / Rain Checks

• If your child has played less than 15 minutes, you’ll receive a rain check for a future Kids Zone session.

• If they have less than 15 minutes left, you’ll receive a 20% discount on a future session.

• If your child has played more than 15 minutes, the session is considered complete.

Optional Parent Pickup During Light Rain

If it’s just a light rain and you prefer your child not play in the rain, you may pick them up early — but there are no refunds or rainchecks for unused time unless Kids Zone officially closes.

🤒 10. Sick Kid Policy

To keep everyone healthy:

• Children must be fever‑free for 24 hours

• If your child becomes ill during play, we will call you immediately

• You must return within 5 minutes

👟 11. Clothing & Safety Requirements

• Closed‑toe shoes required

• Sunscreen recommended

• Weather‑appropriate clothing

• Water‑play days will be announced in advance

If you don’t want your child getting wet, please avoid checking them in during water‑play sessions.

🧾 12. What You Can Expect From Us

We promise to:

• Keep Kids Zone safe, structured, and joyful

• Treat your child with kindness, respect, and care

• Address unsafe or unkind behavior immediately

• Communicate promptly if your child needs you

• Respect for staff

• Kindness toward other families

• Prompt responses to calls

• Following all safety rules

• Honest communication
